All electrical and electronic devices emit electromagnetic radiation or microwave radiation somewhat, but the amount and the frequency and intensity to cause harm to people nearby sucks. EMR of routers are not too intense to harm people.

In view of the EMR I would say that the issue of a router is vanishingly small. The EMR would also centered around the router itself and not its reach.
