    John seems a statement that he just fills in various illustrations have. He can only ride this horse so long. It is time for him to update his material. not be reached this book, know that Sorry, I like him on the platform, but his writing is always stale.

    Of all the available books on leadership, I’ve found this to one of the best, and leadership is part of what I teach through my business management courses. This is not one of the longest, most detailed books or books, but it says more than 157 pages to say in other, 400 pages. The easy-flowing writing style creates a pleasant reading experience, the grasp is not an extensive amount of thought or time. The end result is an accomplished, basic book in a professional style served.

    The author uses these 21 qualities for the base of successful leadership: character, charisma, commitment, communication, competence, courage, insight, focus, generosity, initiative, listening, passion, attitude, problem solving, relationship, responsibility, security , self-discipline, servanthood, learning ability and vision. What a sensational, winning combination! Each of the 21 components discussed separately. While all these elements are critical to strong leadership, when I use the volume on five areas of particular benefit would narrow, it would be based on character, competence, listening, generosity and self-discipline. I especially liked Maxwell’s straightforward approach and a positive attitude throughout the book issued. Another book that rated at the top of my list, and one I would recommend, is a popular, all-time classic, “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.

    While the author seems well-intentioned, the book is very superficial. It seems recycled bromides and platitudes, connected by anecdotes and quotations, are interrupted by occasional exaggeration (like “Everything stands or falls on leadership” – everything?). There are hundreds of pounds of lead, with more meat.

    Posted complement to the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, this book will help you identify and develop the personal qualities you need to become an effective leader.
    Maxwell has an excellent job getting to the heart of a any quality in just a few pages. It begins with two relevant quotations to start you thinking. He then gives you a quick example from the practice of that particular quality in action.

    He breaks each principle down into specific applications, gives you a short period in which you can assess your own effectiveness, offers concrete ways to improve, and wrap each chapter with a profound thought that if you stay long after you have closed the lid.

    What you get from this book depends how you read it. This is a very easy read, and you may be tempted to race through it and miss some important points. Maxwell law suggests that you go methodically through the individual quality by the attention that it is based on your current level of competence warrants.

    While the material warrants five stars, had some spelling mistakes and the author cites the use of its own him down a notch for me. Otherwise a very good handbook for improving your personal leadership qualities.

    The temptation will be to read it cover to cover in onesitting. . . But this is a book you need to read a chapter PerDay “for 21 days. . . Large images of what real leadersreally do. This also excellent ways to internalize these 21 proposals for attributes. I had to buy a copy for everyone in my team. . . This is John Maxwell’s best to think about the tangible qualities of effective leaders.
